Maintenance must do’s!
1st always check your manufacture recommendation
Check your tire pressure:
An under inflated tire can decrease your gas mileage.
Check your battery:
Every 6 months. Corrosion can kill your battery.
Check your belts:
The last thing you want is to be stranded on the side of the road because your belt broke. This could cause much more damage than just needing a new belt at that point. You should change your belts every 60,000 to 100,000 miles.
Oil, Fluid and Filters:
LOF (Lube oil and filter) should be done every 3 months or 3,000 miles. Some manufacturers recommend this service be completed every 4 months or 4,000 miles depending on the make of your vehicle. Coolant every 2 years or 24,000 miles, transmission fluid every 3 years or 36,000 miles.
If your vehicle is pulsating at 60mph you most likely need brakes. We will check your pads, rotors, shoes, sensors and hard ware to ensure you brakes are working properly and replace if needed.
Depending on the year of your vehicle, a tune up is recommended every 30,000 miles. Tune ups make a difference on the performance of your vehicle engine. If your vehicle is running rough, it may need a tune up.
These simple preventive maintenance must do’s can ensure you will have a safe and dependable running vehicle.
